Storybook
Create a visual narrative in the form of a website.
Prompts
- What was a memorable event from your holiday break?
- What is something you daydream about often?
- What are short narrative formats that you can draw inspiration from?
- How can you make your story specific to the medium of the web?
Considerations
- It can be fictional or non-fictional.
- Keep it short and simple.
- Can include text but the text has to be supportive of the visual. In other words, the visual should be the focus.
Must Haves
- Must be only HTML & CSS.
- All visuals made with CSS. Absolutely no images (GIF, PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG).
- Minimum three frames/pages.
Objective
To become comfortable with the use of code to create visual forms and to push the limits of CSS as a drawing medium.
